Designing for the digital-native generation
Several research projects will be presented by Axance, focusing on teenagers’ (between 15 and 18 years old) digital lives, an interesting marketing target because of their great influence within the family and of course because they’ll soon be the next generation of our customers.
Some of the following topics will be covered:
The use of digital media for communication and entertainment (web, mobile, tablet), the digital services they use in their everyday life (what services and for what purpose), what new digital services they are expecting from banks, the travel industry and especially services connected to urban mobility, localization, maps, also health, communication (including social network), entertainment (TV, music and cinema industry) and press.
More about Eric
Eric is a Director, Senior Consultant and User Research Lab Director at Axance (Paris, France) who works with companies to fully comprehend end-users needs and abilities. As a User & Customer Experience Strategist, he helps create global experiences that enhance the services and products they provide. Since 2010, Eric leads the Axance’s User Research Lab, a market and usability lab that welcomed more than 12,000 users from its creation. For more than 15 years, Eric worked for companies and organizations with high-level strategic goals and brand positioning and contributed to a number of projects for companies such as Axa, Orange, Paypal, Vodafone, Microsoft, Redcats, Danone, Alcatel, BNP Paribas, Redcats, Natixis, etc.
In addition to his work, Eric regularly lectures on Internet strategy. He leads masterclasses on e-commerce and UX strategy for the Ecole des Mines. He’s also member of the University Research Council in the Department of Sociology at the University of Nantes.
